You might be a blogger who is good at gaining some unique and huge traffic to your blog. But what if they are leaving your blog just after entering it? It’s really a sad thing. Na?

Making your blog stand out and keeping your readers stick onto your blog is really a Professional Blogging Quality.
Just imagine that you are gaining 500 new readers each day and all you get as a usual blogger is 500 unique visits and some page views from some of those readers. It will be like only 600 to 650 page views / day.
But what if you get 500 new readers each day and they will come back to your blog next and everyday? Its double the traffic. And it will be like 500, 1200, 2600, 5400, and goes on like that. And that is how you make your blog worth it and push it to the top of the game.

In this article, I will be teaching you some powerful tactics to throw glue to your readers and make them stick to your blog..

How to Make your Blog Worth Coming Back to it

In order to gain loyal readers and force them not to leave your blog and hopefully come back to it more often, you really need to roll the dice and do some magic. Learn how to make your blog worth staying on it.

Powerful Design.

You are right. Design really matters and its one big thing you should really give priority to from the very beginning.

When someone enters your blog for the first time, in a quick glance, what they see is your blog’s design and its the first impression.
I know I don’t need to remind you that “First Impression is the Best Impression”. I’m pretty sure that you know it ;)

Okay so, you really need to impress your readers with the Power of your Design. Right?
And when I said powerful what I meant was..

  • Simple Layout.
  • Quick and Responsive Theme.
  • An easy and not confusing navigation facility.
  • A footer with almost everything to start from the beginning of your blog.
It should have a Popular Posts widget or Random Posts widget.

Try to make it unique and powerful by holding there a second and think what all things your blog needs to add.

Catchy Post Titles.

Well, the next thing comes just after the design is the titles. Your blog posts titles are what makes your readers to click on it and give it a try reading.

So, it’s up to you to make it catchy and magnetic. Make your titles create thoughts on their mind.
They could be..

  • Doubt or Questions.
  • Interesting or Funny.
  • Solution or Answers.
  • Confusing.
  • And worth reading.

Know that it’s the titles which are the door to your blog posts and promise your readers that the content is worth reading from your title itself.

You can also try the List Title Method, where you write titles by adding up numbers and giving hope to your readers.
For example ; I could have made the title of this article – “How to Force your Readers not to leave your blog”. But I made it – “5 Tips to Force your Readers not to leave your Blog”.

It creates a quick hope in their mind and they thinks – “Whoa! These 5 tips might really help me” and becomes eager to read and leaving no other chance for them but to click on it and read.

Valuable Content.

TrustSo, now you have magically forced them to open your blog posts. Now imaging your readers are in some of the article. But what if your blog does not have value on it?

Like I always says – “You must make your Blog Worth Reading“. And its all upto you.

Give them more than they expected from your content and they will surely love your blog. And gradually they will become your loyal readers.  - It worked for me! ;)

Make sure you give something to them before they leave. This will force them to think of your blog when they feels lost or want to read some guides.

Connect to other Posts.

Even though every other tricks work for me, this is the best part and my secret recipe.

Try linking your content with other articles from your blog itself.
For example, you are writing about Search Engine Optimization. In your article, you have the phrase “back linking is really profitable” and you have already written an article on the benefits of back linking on your blog.
So what you need to do is link the phrase with that article.
Like : Back linking is really profitable.

It will surely increase the time your readers stay on the blog and when they finds that your blog have more and more content. They will turn out to be your loyal readers! :)

Don’t Miss : How to Impress your Readers

Provide Subscribing facility.

I hope you have already read my previous article on gaining more Email Subscribers to your blog.

Your blog subscribers will be notified by Mail when you update a new article on your blog. So help them to stay updated.
Don’t forget to implement the subscribing widget on your blog. I have one on the right side and one on the end of the blog post. Two will do perfect! :)

Bonus Tip : Add Humor and Be Human.

Everyone likes humor and there is no doubt in it. I know some great bloggers who fail only because of their way of writing. They always writes like robot and have no humor in them. You have to think human and act human in order to gain the love of your readers. Good luck.

Don’t forget to stay updated if you liked what you just read! :) Thanks

  1. Wow… Really an Educative Post… I appreciate your post.. I followed you from Facebook.. It was really worth reading! Thanks

  2. Thanks man! This post is helpful.

  3. I think humor is a very important ingredient — particularly if it’s a bit unusual. And even if you’re not out to be funny then you should certainly be true to yourself so that your unique perspective comes through. That makes your blog stand out amongst the crowd. It might take a while for your audience to find you, but when they do they’ll tend to stick with you.

      Stay around. Okay?

  5. Hi Amal,

I completely agree with your “ingredients” of an inviting blog. One must infuse his/her own personality into the blog. That is the element that makes the posts flow nicely. Perhaps some people will not like the style of writing or the personality of the blog but one cannot please everyone. A blogger must stay true to himself and that will translate into honesty. When we do that, the readers reward us with trust and that is what is important for a successful online business.

Thank you for sharing your ideas.

    Cheers
